WELCOME TO THE BRAIN AND LANGUAGE STUDY AT UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO

The University of Chicago Language Development Project is conducting a study to gain an understanding of the neurobiology of oral and written language comprehension in typically developing children and children with early brain injury.

WHO ARE WE
LOOKING FOR?

 

We are seeking children ages 8 to 14 who have participated in previous research with our project.

 

WHAT WILL YOUR CHILD BE DOING IN THE  STUDY?

 

Your child will be scanned using MRI while they perform a variety of language tasks. The MRI scan is safe and non-invasive. Please check out our current study and visit overview pages for more details on what your child will be doing. 

WHERE IS THE STUDY TAKING

PLACE?

This study will take place at Northwestern's Center for Translational Imaging (CTI) in Chicago, IL. Please click maps and directions for more details.
